The Tile Hunter

A short doc-style video I edited for Into the Wild Houses, following Joel Cánovas who rescues old historic tiles in Barcelona.
Every day, somewhere in Barcelona, a 100 year old floor goes into a trash. Joel’s rescued over 300,000 hydraulic cement tiles from renovation sites, cleaned and restored them, catalogued them, and found them new homes, from Barcelona to Los Angeles and Australia.
