Cheri is a Nottingham/London based documentary filmmaker and editor.
Her work is inspired by real people, places and the quiet details of everyday life. She’s particularly interested in stories that explore culture, environment and the human relationship to the place we live.
Before filmmaking, Cheri spent several years travelling and working abroad, which has significantly shaped how she sees stories and the people within them.
Most of the time you’ll find her behind the edit, shaping footage, finding rhythm in conversations and moments, and gradually building a story from the raw material. Cheri is currently looking for opportunities within production houses and creative agencies.
